Giving allows people who may not be given the same opportunities to get the chance to work for a life. They get put on an even playing field that may not have been available to them otherwise.

Describe your Syracuse experience in a couple of sentences.

I transferred here this past year as a sophomore and have really felt brought into the community! I feel academically and socially challenged, which has been super invigorating.

Please tell me about your involvement with the Art Museum.

I am one of the front desk work studies. I help out with greeting visitors, setting up events and being a hands-on member whenever someone needs assistance.

What has been your favorite Syracuse experience so far?

My favorite experience at Syracuse so far has been going on the Psychology immersion trip. Not only were the places we visited really interesting and helped me get a better understanding of what I want to do with my career, but the other students were so incredible and willing to share their own experiences and talk about future plans

How has donor generosity impacted your time at Syracuse?

Donor generosity has allowed me to experience life at Syracuse and take part in everything I am doing currently. I would not be able to participate in everything I have so far if I didn’t receive scholarships to be able to explore and deepen myself as a person.

What does it mean to you to be Orange?

To be Orange means to support fellow students, to push everyone to be the best they can be and to be respectful of the community and opportunities given.
