Tell me about your involvement with the Libraries.

During my time at Syracuse University, the library has become my home away from home. I've spent countless hours there, engaging with its vast resources to support my studies and projects. My involvement with the library has extended beyond just studying; I have had the opportunity to work as an innovation mentor at Blackstone LaunchPad, mentoring student entrepreneurs, helping them develop their ideas and navigate the challenges of starting a business. Additionally, I served as the campus ambassador for the New York State Business Plan Competition, further deepening my engagement with the entrepreneurial community at Syracuse. The library has been a central hub for my academic and extracurricular activities, fostering my growth and development.

What has been your favorite Syracuse experience so far?

My favorite experience at Syracuse has been discovering the myriad opportunities available to students. From engaging in advanced coursework and participating in cutting-edge research projects to mentoring budding entrepreneurs and contributing to student organizations, I've found that Syracuse offers something for everyone. The key is to stay active and seek out these opportunities, as they can significantly enhance both your academic and personal growth.

Why do you think giving is important?

I believe that giving is crucial because it creates a cycle of generosity and gratitude. When you give, you open receive much more in return, whether in the form of personal growth, strengthened relationships, or a sense of fulfillment. Giving fosters humility, reminding us of our interconnectedness and the impact we can have on others' lives. This mindset not only enriches our own lives but also helps build a more compassionate and supportive community.

What does it mean to you to be Orange?

To me, being Orange means being part of a vibrant and diverse community at Syracuse University. It represents pride in our shared values of excellence, innovation and resilience. Being Orange means embodying the spirit of collaboration and striving to make a positive impact both on campus and in the broader world. I am proud to be a part of this dynamic community, where we support and inspire each other to achieve our fullest potential.
